Finding Your Joy
Sometimes we find ourselves in the crazy busy daily routine. We wonder what happened and how our lives became so hectic and full. Where did all the drama come from at work, or in other relationships? How do we make it stop? How do we get a little more joy and bliss in our lives?
Prayer is the way. It may seem like a luxury to take 15 minutes away from your schedule. It may actually seem like a burden in that you will then be 15 minutes behind. I encourage you to try it.
Sit in a quiet place. Breathe in and breathe out a couple of times. Say to yourself "Be Still". Repeat this and then begin to think a moment about the blessings in your life. I bet there are at least a couple you can count. Now rejoice in those things you are thankful for. Feel the gratitude grow in your heart. Be excited about your blessings. Thank God for each and every one of those blessings. Tell him you are grateful.
Now you can get back to your day. May it be a joy filled memorable one!
